The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (Mo NHSR&C), through the Common Management Unit for AIDS, TB and Malaria (CMU), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), successfully conducted the Tuberculosis Epidemiological Review Mission from 9–16 July 2025.
The mission concluded with a high-level debriefing session at the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (Mo NHSR&C), where key findings and strategic recommendations were presented to guide future TB surveillance and programmatic planning.
During the in-country visit, the mission team travelled to Lahore, where they held a coordination meeting with the Director General Health Punjab at the DG Health Office. The team also conducted field visits to key TB care and diagnostic sites, to assess service quality, data systems, and private sector engagement.
The outcomes of this mission will inform the development of Pakistan’s upcoming National Strategic Plan for TB and related future grant proposal to Global Fund.
