A meeting was held on September 10, 2026, between the Common Management Unit (CMU) and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration and integrating HIV-related services and social support for children and people living with HIV.
The National Coordinator, CMU, and Deputy National Coordinator-HIV met with the Managing Director, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid, to explore enhanced coordination between the HIV Programme and PBM. Discussions focused on addressing the broader health, social, and welfare needs of children and families affected by HIV, with emphasis on access to social protection, welfare assistance, education, and other available support services through Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.
